Pam Gaylord, operating partner, shows off the viewer’s choice award along with a group of enthusiastic students.

It’s always nice to receive an award, but it’s extra special to be recognized within a couple of months of opening a new location.  The Peoria Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping location was recognized as the favorite fitness center by the WEEK, WHOI, My59, TheCW and Weather First audience during the locations first 10 Week session.

WHO-TV presented a plaque to commemorate the honor.  We asked Pam Gaylord if she was surprised to receive such an honor this quickly.

Pam commented, “To be considered for the Viewer’s Choice Award, someone has to nominate the business.  So, when I heard that Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping had been nominated, I was happy that we were being considered.  We are so new to the area that I didn’t anticipate that we would acquire enough votes to put us at the top, but our participants made it happen!  The impact that the FXB program has on the participants is what actually makes this program so successful.  I want to express my gratitude to all the participants for recognizing FXB as one of the best fitness programs in the area.”
