Farrell’s Opens in Minneapolis Suburb
Posted by lifelevel10
Farrell’s Northernmost location opened in Blaine, Minnesota on Saturday, January 22nd. Franchise Owners Damion Meyer and Walter Jensen have been working hard to introduce Farrell’s to the Minneapolis community and have been pleasantly surprised to welcome students with previous FXB (Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping) experience.
Sarah Fulton, a previous student in Iowa, says, “I did the program in Corallville and I saw really awesome results and it was a great atmosphere and so I was excited that Farrell’s is opening in [the Minneapolis area]!”
Kori Cannata also moved from Iowa, and had a number of friends who worked out at Farrell’s but hadn’t tried the program herself. Her daughter is credited with making the connection when she saw the familiar symbol on their way to Target. Kori tells us, “ … my youngest daughter said, ‘Mom there it is!’ … and I came in today to get started.”
Aaron Robbins and his fiancé were living in West Des Moines, IA when he found himself in the worst shape of his life over a year ago. They decided to try Farrell’s on a whim and felt overwhelmed at first.
“We immediately thought we were in over our heads, but we adjusted and we saw results – results are typical – we loved the changes that we saw and stayed with the program for over a year. When we moved back to Minnesota, where we’re from, we had to leave the Farrell’s program. … We just found a house and happened to see that a new location is opening in Blaine, just a couple of miles down the road. Now we’re super excited to get back into Farrell’s and get back in the program. We’re so excited. We can’t wait!”
A new location brings opportunity for new students too! Della Ljungkull and Brad
Meyer are both athletes looking for a boost.
Della was a collegiate athlete and accustomed to being in fantastic shape, but that’s changed in the past year. “The past year, since I’ve been out of school I’ve gained some weight and my body – you know – my abilities have decreased and I want to get back the confidence I used to have.”
Brad, a marathoner and tri-athlete admits to being talked into the program by his cousin Damion. “Damion really believes in the program and talked me into it. I’m a fairly self-motivated person, but I’m hoping the program will bring me to the next level with marathon running and triathlons. I’m excited!”

Walter and Damion are enthusiastic about bringing Farrell’s to a new city, and spoke with founder, Lance Farrell about their goals for the first group.
Damion explaned, “To really set a transformation we want to make a life-style change for these individuals. We can look at any benchmark test and say, ‘yeah I want to go up 15 pushups and 20 situps,’ but Walter and I, coming to this as coaches, we really want to help them to make changes they can take outside of these doors and actually change their life-style and transform. I want to encourage people to follow a healthy path and get rid of some health issues they may have from family history or from their own bad choices. It’s really rewarding to be able to contribute to that.”
