I Am So Glad I Took the Plunge

David M. – Grimes, Iowa

I am not the share-my-story, touchy feely kind of guy, but I wanted to send you this to let you know that Farrell’s has changed my life!
When I started your program, I was the heaviest I have ever been in my life at 242 pounds (my scale at home). I was feeling pretty low about myself as a former high school and college coach (17 years) and former college quarterback and half-miler.

I had sunk to my lowest physical level ever, and it had happened over the past 15 years. I was ashamed to be seen by old friends and embarrassed about the way I looked when in public. I haven’t taken my shirt off in front of anyone in years.

Mentally, it was a block for me to start any kind of exercise or diet and stick with it.
However in six short weeks, I am already down 22 pounds (I know I am not supposed to be on the scale, Scott J) and have lost several inches from my chest and waist.

I feel so much better about myself and have faired much better in workouts (although I CANNOT do planks or rowboats for 30 second, Scott J).

I am so glad that I took that plunge and started Farrell’s. I really appreciate the fact that most if not all of your instructors are success stories themselves in Farrell’s. I really like that we see such a variety of instructors during the week and all of them are varying their workouts so as not to allow the body to adapt.

My long range goal was to lose 50 pounds by Christmas. That is something that was becoming more and more impossible as time went on.

I can now see that it is TOTALLY possible thanks to Farrell’s.
The weeks have flown by, and I am now considering how I can continue the program until Christmas.
