Farrell’s Recipe: Hot and Sour Slaw

Hot & Sour Slaw

3 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1/4 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
3 Cups Napa or green cabbage, shredded
1 Cup red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/3 Cup scallions, sliced
1 – 8 oz. can bamboo shoots, drained and thinly sliced
1. Whisk rice vinegar, soy sauce, oil, ginger, white pepper, and red pepper in large bowl.
2. Add cabbage, bell pepper, scallions, and bamboo shoots. Toss to coat.
