Farrell’s Was One of the Best Decisions of My Life
Ten months after I had my first son, I started working out at a local gym. It was not motivating, unstructured, and just plain boring. I did eventually lose the baby weight, but it was such a frustrating process! Ultimately, I ended up not sticking with the exercise program. After the birth of my second son, I decided to go a different route. I decided to try the Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping program that all of my friends were talking about. Joining Farrell’s turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.
I jumped into the program with both feet and made it a priority to get to my 7:30 pm classes. This time around I was very motivated and having fun exercising all while getting healthier. I looked forward to the daily kickboxing and bands classes and before I knew it I started to see plenty of pretty amazing results. These changes gave me the inspiration I needed to make me want to keep going. After my initial 10-week session I signed on as a FIT member. I then became an instructor six months later and have been loving Farrell’s ever since.
Two years after I had joined Farrell’s I became pregnant with our third child. I immediately talked to my doctor and was given the green light to keep up the program. Exercising while pregnant was very positive and empowering. It kept me physically toned and emotionally well-balanced. I felt fit and healthy and I was able to keep up with my two little boys throughout the pregnancy. I continued leading resistance bands classes into my third trimester and even took my last class the week before I delivered a healthy baby girl. Five weeks after I had my baby I was on the phone with my doctor practically begging to get back to FXB. I missed the kickboxing, I missed the resistance bands and I missed the community of people who make Farrell’s so different from any other gym out there. When I returned, I ended up doing the complete 10-week program again with a new class of 10-week participants. I had perfect attendance, focused on my nutrition and gave it my all—my level 10. Again, Farrell’s proved to be the key to my total body transformation. There is no denying how the program can impact your body, but more than that, I appreciate how Farrell’s keeps me mentally strong and resilient. We all have stress in our lives and we all experience bad days, but for me, I know I get to end my day on the mat. I know I’ve got an awesome work out waiting for me with positive people there to encourage one another.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Farrell’s. It is motivating, structured, encouraging, fast-paced, exciting, and challenging, but also very achievable. Those 45 minutes of my daily “me” time make me a better person. I am healthier from the inside out. I feel so proud to be such a good role model for my kids. Each night my kids see me leave to exercise and I know that I am giving them the best gift of all—a strong, healthy and happy mom.
