Congratulations to our Elite FIT Winner, Bianca!

Every year Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping has an Elite FIT Challenge. Haven’t heard of it? Well, this challenge is specifically for our owner’s and head coaches only.

They don’t just talk the talk, they continue to push themselves to level 10 and this is another way they show their dedication to the program and give themselves a challenge.

The challenge is 8 weeks long and was through the holiday season this year (a tough challenge with all the temptations!), starting before Thanksgiving and ending after the New Year.

The person with the biggest transformation wins $1,000. This year there was a total of 36 owners/head coaches that entered and 12 made the finals.

Our overall winner with the biggest transformation was Bianca J. from our Peoria, IL FXB Location.

Check out Bianca’s story:

I can’t believe that I won the 2015 FIT Elite Challenge.

I started FXB in the winter of 2013 and never saw myself being the head coach. I walked through the FXB Peoria doors at the highest weight I had ever been, 205 lbs. I couldn’t believe what I saw on the scale. I finished my 10 weeks by cutting my weight by 20 lbs. and started to instruct. I was content with my weight, but definitely hit a plateau. As I started to coach, some of my motivation came back but as the 10 weeks ended, I would fall back off the nutrition.

I continued to work every day but it wasn’t until I took on the head coach role at FXB that I realized there was more below 185 lbs. I started watching my nutrition better in 2014 and was able to drop some more weight.
When Flynn informed me of this challenge, I was not sure about signing up since I was in the midst of transitioning into the role of head coach and would be starting a week late. However, I took on the challenge because I knew it would be the push I needed. Flynn said, “If you enter this, you gotta win it.” And he was right. I was all in. I got back to the basics of the program and did leave my level 10 at every workout. I even pushed a bit more and ran on resistance training days.

Coming into the gym every day was such a huge push for me. It was nice to have a challenge from my fellow instructors and although the burpees were not ever what I wanted to do, it made me stronger. When my mind said it was done, I continued to push because my body could handle it. I loved hearing the participant’s goals and what they are hoping to achieve. By hearing about their goals and seeing them transform, it helped to encourage me more. Hearing about their goals helped me make more goals for 2015.

This challenge has just been the beginning to my future. I was impressed by where I started and where I finished.

I started at 170 lbs. and finished 8 weeks later at 158 lbs. My body fat dropped down 7%!! I have more energy and have a more positive attitude towards life. I would not be where I am today without FXB!

I’m so excited to represent FXB!
