New Farrell’s Location Opened in the Twin Cities
After opening a Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping in New Hope, Minnesota, Joe and Darci Hill and Amy and Brian Fritz recently opened another store in Eagan, Minnesota. New stores in Lino Lakes and Brooklyn Park also opened this month. This is the first Farrell’s to open in the southern tier of the Twin Cities.
The Eagan location is offering sample kickboxing classes this Wednesday, October 28th. Anyone who is interested in learning more about Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping is invited to stop in and try a class. Class times are 5 and 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Joe and Darci and Amy and Brian have had the privilege of mentoring many new members along the way. Two of those members, Jeff and Rhea, recall their Farrell’s journey and how this group of owners helped them get where they are today.
Meet Jeff and Rhea F.
Rhea heard about Farrell’s through a friend who had a lot of success in the 10-Week Challenge. She got to a point where everything in her life, to a certain degree, was compromised, and she didn’t know why. Looking back, Rhea realizes it was because she was lacking both emotional and physical health.
Farrell’s helped her improve in both those areas. During the 10-weeks, Rhea lost 10 pounds and 21 total inches. Her push-ups drastically improved from 9 to 42 and her sit-ups increased from 10 to 50. After continuing on to become a FIT member, she lost even more weight for a total of 40 pounds.
Jeff, Rhea’s husband, saw how well his wife was doing in the program, and decided to give it a try. He weighed about 300 pounds and knew he needed to make a change. At first he changed his eating habits to align with Rhea’s, who was following the Farrell’s nutrition plan. He lost 20 pounds that way, which motivated him to join Farrell’s and begin the workout routine as well. Today he is down 70 pounds, he has more energy, and his back and joints no longer hurt. He feels 100% better after joining Farrell’s.
The program has become habit for Jeff and Rhea. They will continue their healthy eating and remain consistent with their gym workouts. But, Rhea admits, it wasn’t easy at first. When she started the program she faced some challenges, both physical and mental. Rhea says she came up with every excuse known to man, but Joe didn’t let her get off that easily. After suffering some relatively serious injuries, she contemplated quitting. Again, Joe coached her though by teaching her modifications that allowed her to keep working out, and he always encouraged her when she was feeling down.
Today both Jeff and Rhea are FIT members at New Hope. They are proud of what they have achieved, and they remain passionate about the Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping program, so much so that they are in the process of investigating franchise ownership.
