I’m Happier Than I’ve Ever Been Thanks to Farrell’s!
When I initially signed up for my 10-week session with Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping I was at a point in my life where I was unhappy with just about everything. I was unhappy in the long-term relationship I was in, I was unhappy with the way I’d let my health take a back burner, and I was just generally unhappy. I was having difficulty going up and down stairs. I was squeezing into my size 16 jeans and XL tops, and I was just tired all the time. I was ready to make a change and getting into better shape was the change I needed.
During my 10-week session my teammates and the FIT members became another extension of my family. Always there to offer words of encouragement, offer advice on food choices and tips for getting the most out of my 45-minute class. The family-like atmosphere that I gained during my 10-week session is what I believe makes Farrell’s such a great program. The fact that you actually have coaches to offer one-on-one support is what I love about Farrell’s. I have access to people who are supportive and whose wealth of fitness knowledge I can always approach and tap into to hit potential trouble areas.
When I finished my 10-week session I was so thrilled! I’d lost 27 pounds and 4.5 inches off my waist! While my transformation wasn’t a huge one, I was still proud that all my hard work paid off! I am now wearing size 9/10 jeans and medium tops! I love being able to go shopping and feeling comfortable in my own skin. That’s what I was able to gain from my 10-week session – a sense of confidence I’ve never had before. I’m happier than I’ve ever been and I can thank Farrell’s for that.
It was definitely hard work getting to where I am today. I made it to my class time and worked my booty off while I was there. I did quit going to Farrell’s for about a four-month period as I transitioned into a lifestyle change that required that my son and I move to a new place. At that time I was working a ton of overtime and I became slightly depressed. After the holiday season ended and my work life went back to normal, I found I was still trying to get my personal life back into order. I recommitted to Farrell’s and although I would not recommend taking an extended hiatus like I did, it’s been so nice getting back into the routine. I’m also excited that during my hiatus and the holidays I was able to keep the weight I lost from creeping back on!
Joining Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping has been the best decision I’ve ever made! I get compliments all the time about how great I look and that fuels me to work even harder and to continue working on my goals. I recommend the Farrell’s program to EVERYONE who asks me about my weight loss and I’m proud to say I’ve had a few friends sign up and they are doing amazing!
I want people who read this story to know that Farrell’s can work for anyone, and that it’s okay if sometimes you miss a day or two here and there (I would NOT recommend taking an extended hiatus like I did), and that sometimes life throws you a curve ball. What’s really important is that you get back at it. We’ve all got goals we want to achieve. The question is how bad do you want it and are you willing to put in the work? If you’re willing to put in the work, Farrell’s will be there to help you become that better, fitter, happier version of yourself. I know it’s helped me become happier, healthier and fitter than I’ve ever been and I look forward to what else I can accomplish!
