I Knew Right Away That Farrell’s Was Special!

Since joining Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping, Jeff H. has lost 60 lbs. and 27 inches (7.5” off his waist alone)!

We caught up with Jeff to ask him a few questions about his Farrell’s journey so far.

Why did you join Farrell’s?

I joined in support of my wife, Tammy, but just like learning to dance, I discovered pretty quickly that I loved it and that I wanted to get in the best shape of my life.

Describe your Farrell’s experience.

There have been many positive changes, physical and otherwise. My blood pressure is in the normal range now and I was level 2 hypertensive when I started. I no longer need medication to control that. Other people have started to notice, too. I bumped into someone who had not seen me in four months and they barely recognized me. She said I looked great and that I look much younger. That was good to hear and made me feel great. I have always been confident in myself, but I did not always like what I saw in the mirror and that is starting to change. When you work as hard as we do in this program you get a certain amount of pride with each milestone you reach.

At the end of my 10 weeks, I had dropped 24 lbs., 14 inches over all, including 6 inches off my waist.

I did not know what to expect when we started, but knew right away that this program was special. I love that the “10-Weekers” are “thrown into battle” from day one with the FIT students because it immediately gave me goals. I wanted to be able to do what “they” were doing. It gave me motivation to start using heavier bands and to work harder than I thought I could.

I like the emphasis on eating healthy and making a lifestyle change instead of many programs out there that restrict calories and “starve” the weight off of you (which of course you can’t sustain and put it right back on). This program is set up for success from the very beginning. The instructors all use a positive form of motivation that makes you want to work harder and the routines change from day-to-day enough to keep it fun and challenging. Now I am hearing new students being inspired and motivated by me as a FIT student and it feels good. I love the program and would recommend it to anyone that wants to take charge of their health and fitness!

Share a memorable moment from Farrell’s.

The first couple of weeks were memorable! After I stopped being so sore and got into the groove it became a positive habit and a fun place to start my day. I have met some very cool people during my time at Farrell’s. The awards party was fun, and I was shocked when I won the $1,000 prize, but knew even before that I was going to continue with the program and join as a FIT member!

What would you say to someone considering joining Farrell’s?

The simple answer is it works. It’s a great way to get into fantastic shape around positive people who have similar goals.
